The Pokémon World Championships crown the best players on the planet every year. Here are the Masters Division world champions — the Trading Card Game winners and the Video Game (VGC) winners — together with the city that hosted each event.
Champions, host cities and years from Bulbapedia's World Championships records (Masters Division); winning decks from the official World Championship Deck reprints. Every champion has a full 60-card TCG decklist (with the card's set code, e.g. DEX 63) or a VGC team. Card codes are the era-appropriate printing; VGC sprites show the base form. Every champion also receives a “No. 1 Trainer” trophy card. First-place cash prizes are official from 2022 onward; before then the award was a college scholarship whose exact amount isn't public, so those figures are estimates (marked est.).
